Payment Options

 

  • All payments to be made via PayPal. Credit card payments are also processed through PayPal. You may use your credit card through PayPal. No PayPal account is required to complete your purchase.

  • Direct Checkout by major credit cards are also accepted. Please note that all credit card transactions are subject to an anti-fraud validation process. Shipping to a different address than the cardholder, may delay your shipment by up to 5 days. 

  • Canada Only : Interac e-transfer direct debit is accepted. Please contact us before placing your order for details.

  • All "in stock" items will be shipped within 1 - 2 business days or 3-4 days for Canadian statutory holidays.

  • We ship to the PayPal / credit card verified shipping address. Instruction to ship to another location is subject to a delay of up to 5 days.

  • Items shipped to a shipping address other than PayPal / credit card verified can only be shipped once we receive confirmation of payment.

  • PayPal E-Check: Should you choose the PayPal e-check option, please note that there is a minimum delay of up to 5 business days before payment is received at which time shipping can be expected 1 -2 days after the e-check has cleared.

Order Cancellation
  • Jewelry / Tangible goods: You may cancel your order with a full refund anytime up to the time that your order has shipped. Unless otherwise noted in the listing, all orders for "in-stock" items are shipped within 1 business day.

  • Digital Downloads: Digital downloaded content orders may not be cancelled or refunded once the download is completed. Once payment has be made, you are directed to the download page....if you purchased the wrong content or changed your mind, please do not start the download. This being the case, we will gladly refund your order. 

  • Distant Learning / Consultation / Workshops / Classes: Are covered by the terms and conditions that may be viewed (& downloaded).....HERE 

 
 
Shipping

  • We ship to all countries (unless subjected to an international embargo or Canadian law forbids trading with the country).

  • Unless otherwise indicated in the posting, all creations are shipped in a presentation box (smaller items may contain bubble wrap inside the box) that is secured in a waterproof, rip resistant, bubble package. Your creation was made with a great deal of  care, we extend that care to your shipment.

North America​ (non-remote regions)

  • We usually use Expedited Canada Post that includes tracking and insurance (Canada Post insurance may be limited to $500.00 CAD) of your shipment, unless the posting indicates or you request economy shipping.

  • Important: for purchases over $400.00, upgraded shipping is strongly recommended. 

  • Based on Canada Post estimations, packages usually take:

    • Canada 4 -7 business days

    • USA 7-14 business days

  • In a hurry for that special gift occasion, Priority shipping upgrades are available.Priority upgrades are usually shipped via a courier carrier such as DHL / UPS / FedEx.

  • Courier carrier priority shipments include 100% insurance along with real time tracking. Delivery times usually take:

    • Canada 2 - 4 business days

    • USA 2 - 4 business days

North America​ - Remote regions

  • Carriers may add surcharges for some regions (Alaska, NWT, Yukon for example) that are not included in the posted shipping price. In the event that remote surcharges exceed the posted shipping price, we will provide you with the option to pay the additional fees or cancel your order.

  • Please note that even though most carriers provide an estimated delivery time, delays are pretty frequent (you will know this if you are living in one of these regions). If you are purchasing a gift for a special occasion, please consider placing your order at least 10 days prior to your occasion.

  • Delivery times usually take:

  • 4 - 6 business days (weather & local air service permitting)

European Union (& UK)

  • We usually use courier carriers such as DHL / UPS / FedEx, unless the posting indicates or you request economy shipping, in which case Canada Post may be the the carrier.

  • All courier carrier shipments include 100% insurance along with real time tracking.  

  • Based on Canada Post estimations, packages usually take:

    • 6 -10 business days

  • Priority shipping upgrades are available.

  • Delivery times usually take:

    • 4 - 6 business days

 International

  • IMPORTANT: If your country appears in the shipping options drop down menu at checkout, this indicates the calculated shipping price. If your country falls under "Rest Of The World", then the shipping price is an estimated flat rate.

  • Carriers may add surcharges for some regions that are not included in the posted shipping price. In the event that surcharges exceed the posted shipping price, we will provide you with the option to pay the additional fees or cancel your order.

  • In the event that the actual shipping cost is less than the posted price, a refund for the difference will be applied to your method of payment.

  • We usually use courier carriers such as DHL / UPS / FedEx, unless the posting indicates or you request economy shipping, in which case Canada Post may be the the carrier.

  • All courier carrier shipments include 100% insurance along with real time tracking.  

  • Based on Canada Post estimations, packages usually take:

    • 6 -10 business days

  • Priority shipping upgrades are available.

    • 4 - 10 business days

Import Duties / Taxes

  • The purchaser (or recipient) is responsible for any and all duties and/or taxes levied by their country of residence. 

 
Return / Refunds (excluding commission orders)

 

100% Satisfaction Assurance

Please contact us within 3 days of receipt of your order should you encounter any issues with your purchase. We want you to be not only 100% satisfied with your purchase but that you experience the joy that your piece was created for.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, based on your preference we will:

  • Refund the full purchase price less shipping or

  • Provide you with a store credit for the purchase price (less shipping) within 24 hours of receiving your returned item as long as the following conditions are met;

  • You must contact us to advise of the return within 72 hours of the date of delivery

  • A tracking number of the returned item must be provided

  • The item is returned in the original condition and packaging

 

European Union

If within the 14 days following delivery of your purchase you are not satisfied with your purchase, based on your preference we will:

  • Refund the full purchase price or

  • Provide you with a store credit for the purchase price within 24 hours of receiving your returned item as long as the following conditions are met;

  • You must contact us to advise of the return within 14 days of the date of delivery

  • Proof of shipping along with a tracking number of the returned item must be provided

  • The item is returned in the original condition and packaging

  • Items returned in a condition other than the original shipping condition, will be subject to the deduction of all repair fees

Quality Assurance - Repairs

In compliance with the consumer protection laws of the province of British Columbia, Canada, all jewelry purchased from this site is covered by a 90 day guarantee covering the quality of workmanship. In the unfortunate situation that your creation develops a defect (please note that oxidization / tarnishing is normal and to be expected, it is not a defect), we will complete all required repairs at no cost to you. We will either;

  • Provide you with a printable return shipping label . The label will be from the original location of delivery. If you require the return shipping from a different location than the original shipping address, you may be required to pay any additional shipping costs.

  • Undertake all required repairs and return your creation in its restored condition.

OR

  • In the event that the repair is minor (replacement jump ring / necklace clasp / earring hooks), we will refund the cost of having your repair completed locally. A scanned or photo of the receipt containing the date, details of repair and location contact must be provided. If you do not have a PayPal account, we may require your personal banking details to provide you with the refund.

However, we extend this guarantee up to 1 year from the purchase date with the exception that you will be required to pay the return shipping. In the event that;

  • The damage is not related to the original work completed in the creation of your piece, repair costs along with shipping costs to return the piece to you will apply.

  • The damage is the result of a defect in the original work, we will complete the required repair and pay for the shipping to return your piece to you. We will also refund the amount you paid for the return shipping.

 

Please note that necklace chains contain soldered links. As such, it requires an unnatural force to be separated. Very fine chains (especially Silver) will evidently have a lower tolerance to force and are not intended to be worn during periods of high physical activity. As it is so very important to us that your creation plays an active role in your reality and not become abandoned, we will consider necklace failure as a minor repair (detailed above).    

 

Damage in transit

Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of your order should you encounter any issues with your purchase being damaged in transit. We take the utmost care in packaging your purchase to ensure that the creation is protected from regular carrier handling, but "things happen"!

 

IMPORTANT TIPS:

  • If your package shows signs of damage or rough handling, ask the delivery person to note the condition BEFORE signing for your package. Most carriers will provide you with a copy of a damage report, if so, you can sign for the reception. If not, it is critical that you ensure that the damage is noted in the electronic signature device. Keep in mind that most carriers require a signature to "confirm the reception and condition" of your package. Failing to follow this tip can seriously impact your shipping insurance or at the very least, prolong the delay in receiving the shipping insurance payment required to complete any repairs or refund.

  • Take photos! of your package before opening and of any damage to the packaging inside the shipping envelope.

  • Help us to help you! Let us know as soon as you possibly can of any damage to your creation. Timely reporting of any issue to the carrier is essential to our ability to assist you.

 

In the event that your piece is damaged in transit, we will either complete the required repairs or refund your purchase including shipping upon confirmation of the insurance coverage by  the carrier.

 

If you opted for a reduced shipping cost that did not include tracking (items 100$ or less), we will repair the damaged items (buyer to pay return shipping) or issue a store credit for items non-repairable.

 

Please note that replacement items may take up to 14 days to be re-shipped. 

 
 
Commission Orders

 

The acceptance and purchase of a commission order from Sky And Beyond constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions

 

When you place a commission order you will receive:

  • A detailed description accompanied by a photo reference (if based on an previous creation) of your creation

  • Details of any *"non-inventory" items (metals, gemstones, findings, etc.) required to produce your creation,

  • Details of the projected time to complete your creation,

  • Photos of the work in progress of your project,

  • Photos of the final product for your approval prior to shipping, no commission order will be shipped until we receive your approval,

  • The total price that will only change at your request for additional work or major modification of the original proposal,

  • including tracked shipping costs.

 

Once you have approved the details of your order, **payment in full is required before work on your creation can begin.  

 

Once your project starts, any requested significant changes to your original order may;

  • create additional charges,

  • delay the time to completion,

  • cause a re-scheduling of your commission based on the volume of pending orders.

Cancellation: Once a commission order has been accepted and payment received, a 10% administration fee along with the total cost of non-inventory items (if applicable) will be applied to any refund of cancelled commission orders.

The cost of "non-inventory" items is non-refundable and will be deducted from the store credit in the event that you cancel the commission order.

 

** Please note that commission orders are only refundable as a store credit that is transferable to any of our online sales outlets.
