Eternally Yours - Bronze Penannular Brooch With Garnet

*** This creation is only available as a modified commission order ***

Inspired by the connectivity of love, the sense of togetherness even when separated, this brooch / pin is intended to represent the enduring love shared by soulmates.

When the reflection of the soul is represented by that special someone, their essence is seen in the world around us. Whether near or far, you will always be the reflection of my soul. This is "Eternally yours".

Containing three skulls representing the Trinity of family (Heart, Body & Soul) that surround an eternal spiral. A single heart points to a beautiful garnet in this neo-classical design. The majestic bronze contains a medium patina (oxidization) with a silky smooth satin finish applied to the embellishments along with polished highlights.

For those special times, a gift from the heart is a gesture of love. When that heart is formed in bronze, the gift becomes a gesture of eternal love!

The Celtic brooch or penannular brooch is a type of brooch clothes fastener. They are especially associated with the beginning of the early medieval period in Ireland and Britain. They are some of the most significant objects in high-quality secular metalwork from early medieval Celtic art.

How to fasten a pennaular brooch:
The pin is pushed through folds of the cloth (the larger the pin, the more loose the weave should be to avoid damage to the cloth), which are then pulled back inside the ring; the free end of the pin passes through the gap in the ring. The pin is then rotated around the ring by 90 degrees or so, so that as long as the pin is held down by slight pressure it cannot escape over the terminals, and the fastening is secure.
