Wisdom - Fine Silver / 24k Gold Pendant With Natural Jade (Canadian Nephrite )

Hand-Formed and carved in .999 fine silver along with a splash of 24k Gold (Keum-Boo) that complements the wonderful British Columbia sourced Jade gemstones. Reflecting those moments when "life experience" provides much more than knowledge.

The central gemstone is embraced with a stylized Lotus flower that supports the second teardrop shaped Jade gemstone. The inspiration of this creation is based on the Buddhist symbolism of the Lotus "One who comes out of mire but is not sullied". Representing the mind relaxing from the tangled web of thoughts and allowing our experience of life speak: "This is Wisdom"

The 24k Gold (applied using the ancient Korean gilding technique of Keum Boo) overlay complementing the rich greens of the Jade, is a representation of the voice of the Soul when we trust our heart. Thus, this piece will make a wonderful Talisman to let your heart follow your dreams. 

The reverse of this pendant is highly decorated with the universal symbol of love. For it is better to know than to show… 

This piece has a low patina (oxidized) producing the effect of an ancestral heirloom that contains the Wisdom of the past. To contrast this effect, a smooth satin finish has been applied to the silver along with a touch of high gloss finish on the delicate highlights.

The .925 sterling silver chain attaches with a toggle clasp.
